Does Food Really Give Us Energy, or Is It Just an Illusion?
We all believe that food gives us energy, nourishment, and keeps us alive. But is this really true, or is it just a hypnosis (illusion) that we have been conditioned to accept? This question might sound strange, but it is deeply thought-provoking. Let’s explore it further.
Does Food Really Give Us Energy?
People believe that eating food gives us energy. But what is the true source of energy? Is food the only thing that keeps us alive, or is there another hidden secret behind our survival?
Science agrees that food is necessary for the body, but on a spiritual level, many sages and yogis have proven that the body can survive for long periods without food. Some monks live only on breath control (pranayama) and solar energy. So, where did this idea originate that food is essential for energy?
Does Food Really Nourish Us?
Another common belief is that food nourishes us. But does nourishment truly come from food, or is it dependent on our consciousness and mental state?
If we eat with fear and anxiety, the food becomes poison for our body.
If we eat with joy and gratitude, the same food turns into nectar.
So, is it fair to say that it is not food but our mind and beliefs that provide real nourishment?
Are We Alive Because We Eat?
Many believe that we are alive because we eat. But is that really true?
If that were the case, no one could survive a few days without food. However, many saints and spiritual seekers have spent months or even years in meditation without eating anything. They remain alive—without food.
So, where did we get this idea that we cannot survive without eating?
We Live in a World of Hypnosis (Illusion)
This entire world operates like a mass hypnosis. From childhood, we are conditioned to believe:
We must eat.Food gives us strength.
Without food, we will die.
But is this really the truth, or just a belief system?
If we change our thinking and consciousness, can we survive without food?
Our Beliefs Shape Our Reality
If a person has strong faith, no external idea can shake them. But if their belief is weak, they can be easily influenced by others' words.
Faith vs. Blind Faith
True faith: Cannot be shaken by anyone.
Blind faith: Can be broken with just a few words.
If our beliefs are so fragile that a single statement can shatter them, then it is not real faith—it is blind faith.
Is It Possible to Stay Away from Negativity?
People say we should avoid negativity, but is that really possible?
The truth is that this world is built on duality—where there is positivity, negativity will also exist.
However, our thoughts and consciousness determine which direction we move toward.
If we control our thoughts, we can rise above negativity.
But if we fail to control our mind, we remain trapped in this hypnosis (illusion).
Conclusion: Do We Really Need Food?
Maybe not!
If we elevate our consciousness, the body can survive on much higher energy sources than food.
The real question is not whether we should eat or not.
The real question is:
"Why do we believe that we need food?"
If we find the answer to this question
, we can break free from this illusion and live at a higher level of awareness.
